Originally established as a restaurant in 1870 and converted to a pub some time later. Unchanged since 1926, making it one of Aberdeen’s oldest pubs, which has been named Bar of the Year by Whisky Magazine for its collection of whiskies. The selection includes probably the oldest dram on sale anywhere in the world, a 65 year old Macallan or legendary Black Bowmore.
