Whisky Port Ellen, 24 y.o., cask strength - 45,8%, unchillfiltered, bottler Chieftain's
Nose - mellow baked pear and pineapple fruitiness with hint of citrus. Islay's phenol, peat and iodine. Like smoked fish.
Palate - fruit again (raisins, pear). Islay peated taste persist with oak hints from cask.
Old school of Islay in great example. You are going to love it a lot, if you're love Islay whiskies already.
