Whisky Glenglassaugh 1965, 40 y.o., cask strength - 47,8%, unchillfiltered, cask 045/411, bottler Murray McDavid
Nose - Fresh, citrus fruits, hint of heather.
Taste - Herbs and floral, vanilla of course, sweet grapes and sweetness. The finish is pretty long for whisky of this age, sweet and round.
Probably one of the best whiskies in this age for reasonable price. 40 years is for whisky long time, but this one is still fresh - and taste incredibly good in its complexicity!
