Laphroaig, 10 y.o., cask strength - 55,7%, distillery bottling
Nose - incredibly sweetness. Citrus fruits, peat and wood. Fenols.
Palate - peat smoke, then oak, malt and sweet smoke again. After that is comming long, long sweet finish.
Our opinion is: if you want to try real Laphroaig, try this one. Peat and richness needs a lots of alcohol to melt together. (Theory and practice of tastes in whisky is part of our whisky tastings of course.)
